Are netbooks overated?  

I use a netbook, an HP Mini 2140 with a 10-inch screen and 93% of a normal keyboard size that fits the profile of a the bigger netbooks out there. It's portable (i.e. light and small) so I could just fit it inside my backpack and not be a burden when I walk in addition to my normal commute. I could do intermediate word processing, presentation editing, therefore a reliable workhorse should I need it wherever I am. We could just say that netbooks are popular for certain lifestyles but not is obviously not for all; you may also be correct in saying that it might have been too popular.

A friend of mine has a net book and i think it is very nice to use small enough to go into my handbag and i took it anywhere i wanted and could use it with ease,which is great for what i needed it for as in going on the internet.I would buy one for myself but i just could not afford it the next thing i get for myself will be a netbook as it do all the things i need it to do.The screen maybe small as you have said but it is great all the same.Happy Mylotting.

For those who want to travel a lot while keeping up with e-mail, news, and other web-based items, a netbook is the most logical choice. With their long battery lives and low cost, netbooks were made for those who are always on the go. However, those who want to do anything more than simple web surfing and basic word processing; a laptop is a more versatile pick.
