M North hits century in Ashes

Hi All,
Standing ovation for North, what a patient innings and what a way to start your Ashes career. Let's not forget this is only his third Test, and he scored a century on debut against South Africa at the Wanderers. Well done.

Yeh it was a very good innings from him. He was patient in the start and scored very slowly. He combined very well with Michael Clarke and rotated the strike well. Then on the fourth morning he and Haddin let loose and had the English ducking for cover.
Unfortunately for him Australia did not win the match, but it was a good effort. Now in the second match, the Ashes has come alive. I am Hoping for a great series.
