Only a few times in the cosmology of the world have miracles happened. Mother Teresa was considered a saint for her work of healing and uplift. Throughout history few others have been classified as special, miraculous and magical. From a young boy, the magic of Michael Jackson was apparent but his destiny was something only God could have foreseen. The power of Michael Jackson touched people in their core. Across the world, the rhythm and beats of his music illuminated the darkness of despair, conquered mountains of monotony and built a legacy of entertainment that will never be matched. Besides the infectous rhythm and tantalizing beats of his music, Michael's legacy is his spiritual inspiration. Looked at in totality of his work, Michael's message through his music, words, and videos stands as a testament of the genius and frailness that is capable of the human vessels of God. Spiritual inspiration pushed through in his words and in the pulsating rhythm that was unmatched. "Just Another Part of Me" was a pulsating, heart pounding anthem of personal power. In it Michael declares, " I'm taking over, I have the truth, this is my mission, I give to you". "Man In The Mirror" pledged Michael's recognition that he personally had power and responsibility to change the world. It continues to stand as a window of Michael's mission and his message of personal journey. He speaks that the change we seek starts with ourselves and speaks of our dicotomy of power and weakness inside ourselves."We Are The World" culminated Michael's newfound power and mission to change the world. This collaboration in message and scope stands for the power and persona of this man to make a call and have it answered and implemented by so many. It was a true manifestation of his epic nature as a humanitarian and artist. Michael's mission to touch and use his platform of music to heal the world was unprecedented. But his mission was just beginning. Black and White and Heal the World spoke to a global utopian universe that Michael envisioned and longed for. Michael saw a unique paradise, perhaps influenced by his Jehovah's Witness upbringing, where people loved one another and were not deterred by poverty, race, or sickness. Michael promoted his message in his music. In the seldom heard Gospel anthem "Keep The Faith" from the Dangerous album, Michael implored his brothers and sisters to stay strong despite any negative vibes from others. The History years and the Invincible years saw Michael become even more introspective, globally conscience with "Stranger in Moscow", "Earth Song and "Cry". Michael's later years were limited by his egocentincities and accusations that stifled his global perspective and limited the world from recognizing his miracle. But the music of Michael will live forever and the global humanity of his words and actions will continue to rise and rise.
