Well My Day Just Got Better!!!

As for every one that has been following my story about my bank account being involved with fraud. Well today I was thinking to myself about it and was wondering what was taking so long because as of today it has been about 3 weeks. So I pulled up my bank web page and logged in. I went into our shared banking account and woolaa the money was put back into our account. We also got new cards because the lady said that she wanted to make sure that we were not caught up in this fraud stuff again. I have to say that our bank is just awesome, they really helped us and they understood how we felt. Never again will I leave my place without my personal cards because I have for sure learned my lesson. I figure that I would make a new discussion about the issue instead of posting it to the old discussions. Happy Mylotting

me and my husband both had that happen but my bank is fast acting and they closed the cards and sent us new ones and put the money back in 3 days we where glad that we didnt have to wait forever for the money because we needed it for important things , i love my bank , at least the one i mainly deal with because i deal with 2 diffrent banks and they are both really good , and are standing strong with no bail outs or even comming close to needing one so i guess thats good for me but having someone steal from your account sucks because of all the things you have to go through to get it fixed.

I know it sucks bad, I never thought there was so much to go through just to fix a problem like this. Well come to find out they closed our cards that same day when I filed the problem but it just took longer to get the money back. I know that the company that did the fraud against our account was very well hidden and was hard to find. Another thing that is hard when this kind of things happens is when you have bills being in the process of being paid. It's a good thing that your bank worked really fast to fix your account. You just made me think to check my account balance on my bank account online. I paid a bill Thursday or Friday online and i hate how long it takes to come out of my account as i want to know my updated balance all the time and i just transferred money into their from Paypal so now I'm all messed up. It suxs to be involved in Fraud really bad and i don't know what i would do about that. I have heard that is happens quit often and i guess I'm lucky it hasn't happened to me yet and i was scared as i broke up with my ex about two months ago and knew he had my account number and all that as he would use it every once in a while, but looks like I'm all safe with that and he never used it after we broke up and never had to change anything.

Yeah it does suck, being involved with fraud. I was happy that they were able to fix my account. I too hate it when it takes so long to take the money out after you pay a bill. Well it was a good thing that your ex is respectable and not do that to you. I wish my ex was respectable, he does not have any of my accounting items or such but he never leaves me alone. As for pay-pal I think it takes to long to do all that transferring. I figure if we verified our account with our bank then it should not take long to transfer the funds. Well I have to say congrats to you for not being involved with fraud yet. Happy Mylotting
