i had heard that she had given birth but had no idea she almost died during the pregnancy because of complications.. im glad they were able to keep it out of the news while she went through it because it would have just made it worse for her stress wise but im also glad she came out and said she had the problems so that others dealing with it know they arent alone and also makes us realized celebrities are humans and can have the same risks and health issues as us.. seems like a lot of the time we think celebrities will live forever although recently that has obviously been wrong (rip michael, farrah, ed, steve)
are you glad when they come out and tell when they have real life problems and health problems to bring more attention to the issue or do you figure they should keep their business to themselves?

i think celebrities expect everything they do to be publicized and run thru the tabloids but i don't agree with it. if they want to keep something quiet they should be able too. some of it also gets very annoying after you hear about it for months end...ex. Angeline Jolie & Brad Pitt adopting another child.

Hi Moon....you are so right in saying that celebrities have some kind of super human strengths that prevent them from getting and feeling human illnesses and pain.
I too am glad that the trouble she was having was able to be kept out of the news becasue she had enought o worry about without hearing all the bad stories that may have taken place because of the problems she was having instead of the good endings that she needed to be hearing to keep her spirits up so her baby came into the world on a happy note.
We need to remeber that celebrities are entitled to their private lives just as we are and need to leave them alone as they ask to be.

yeah if they were smart they wouldnt let any tabloids or tv for her the entire time so that she wouldnt read any negativity and stress herself out

I think it's a give and take really. Sharing like that is very personal and their lives are already so public that understand when they wait to share the news.
I do think it's good that they do though. As you said, being a star has certain perceptions and it's not true. They are people, with real problems, illnesses, dysfunctional families and marriages to boot.
I look at it is they do a job. A very creative, competative job, but they are human beings just like you and I are.
There are times for private moments and then there are times to share. I think how they handle the media was right. Wait, recover and then say.
