at time? There are times it would be so much easier to be mad, angry, depressed, sad, upset in some other way than to be happy in this life. There are so many things that are thrown in our paths that can try to interrupt our happy lives and we have the choice to make the best of the situation and turn it around and continue to be happy or we can allow it to get the best of us and get mad, depressed, sad, etc. I find it very hard at times to be happy and and know that God is in control and that I have the freedom of choice to make my life and others miserable by my unhappy actions or I can stay at peace and continue to be happy by choice. This si definitely a choice we can make ourselves and I want to know how you handle it and what you choose? I am not saying I choose to be happy all the time because I mess up and allow my emotions to get the best of me and I make myself miserable as well as my husband and whoever I am upset with but I am learning in my old age that making the choice of being happy no matter what is better for my health, mind, peace and life in general land relationship with my loved ones. Tell me about how you handle this? Thanks and God bless you!

I'm usually in a good mood but when I'm not the best thing for me to do is to listen to music. It has had a big part in how I feel.
I used to play loud angry music when I was angry or upset, then I would listen to something that would match my mood when I was tired & bored.
Best thing for me to do is play something upbeat & happy....usually hip hop or 50's-60's oldies.
I listen to classical music when I'm trying to read/study, it seems to help me retain things longer.

Thanks!
Turn the radio up and get out those CD's you've not listened to in so long!
My kitchen really isn't that big now but in my old house it was huge and me and my kids would dance, too! It's a great stress reducer as much as it is a mood changer!
Have fun!!

Me too, choose to be happy, calm and energetic. i'm kind a person who rarely smile and only after I went to university, I met a lot wonderful person and since then i learn to laugh histeritacally till my tears drop and wake up until late at night talking with friends. I begin to discover the joy of life, joy of friends that I only discover when I was early 20's. But still I'm glad I discovered it. I know that there are many things I frustrated with and I regret, but I learn not to be caught up with all that, instead learn to move forward. I put that at back and learn nad choose to be happy by changing my habit little by little. I learn to think more wisely and deeper and discover the joy of reading and listening to people. Learn to reject the things that are wasteful and learn that even with simple thing I can I survived and healthy. I learn that actually the person that can make me happy is my own self, not other, because that the choice I'm making, other person cannot make it. Smile even it hard, because then you know you can face challenges ahead of you.
