Computer, TV, PSP, Wii etc. for kids at what age?

When I was pregnant, I was told not to allow my son to watch TV until he was 2 years. I presumed if that applied to the TV, what more other eletronic gadgets like the computer or PSP or even Wii. But at 21 months, I reckon he has watched more than his expected quota of TV. It doesn't help that my babysitter allows him to watch hours of TV - what else would be the easier way? And even my mum, a firm advocate of NO TV, has allowed him a show or two when she had to babysit him. It was the only way to make him sit still. So, are you an advocate of NO TV, and in that respect no computer as well? Have you seen kids stuck with their PSP at the dining table? Sure, it is peace for the parents especially if their toddler is an active one....but would you subscribe to it? Please note that I am not one to judge. I know sometimes it takes too much from a person to actually try to keep a child in his seat while the parents at least try to have a decent meal or start a conversation.....
