The plants we've been trying to get to take for years are finally starting to really show that they've taken. I've got one length that's 4 ft long no fruit that I can tell this year. But I thought I'd ask to see what folks out there used as supports for them?

i have some by my chain link fence.
i just tie some twine a bit away from the fence to hold it up-but not to the fence itself because they don't seem to like the metal.any kind of long tomato stake
would do though.

I have it somewhat supported by a fiberglass stake but it's too long for that and is bending over. The bushes my Aunt had (she got from my Grandmothers place long time ago) they kinda work like a weed/slinkie they get rally tall then bend over in an arch and the end sets roots or atleast I think thats how they work on hers. I dunno all I know is we like fresh fruit around here & the kids would get a kick out of growing them & eating them

i've done that with a couple-they do root pretty quickly when you push them back down.there's always the clothesline method too-two poles and tying them up to one running across.
i want to add some blueberries this year too,but i need a good starter.

I've wanted to do blue berries too but it seems the only plants that are affordable are the jobs in prepackages with the plastic bags on and I didn't have any luck with some flowers I bought that way I didn't want to try blueberries. But a nice established plant would be great if I could buy them as inexpensivly. I don't always have alot of money when it's time to plant around here plus I hear they take a year or two before they fruit.

Hi, wow that's nice to have a raspberry bush. here it doesn't grow or at least that's what I think. Sorry I can't help you much as I don't know how the bush is exactly. But to hold stems and small bushes we use either a bamboo stick or a thin piece of wood.
Hope you'll soon start seeing fruit!

these don't go straight up they kinda bend over stuff and reroot so I have them staked but I dunno that it's enough once it fills out or multiplies.
