Alanis appearing on the showtime series Weeds

Are there any other Alanis fans out there as excited as i am to see Alanis Morissette appearing on the showtime tv series Weeds?I think last weeks episode (7/6/09) was the first one featuring her. I didn't catch the episode tonight to see if she was on. She is playing Nancy's (the lead character) OBGYN. I dunno, maybe i am just weird...i am such a huge alanis fan it is just exciting to see her name out and about in the world again.
now if she would just make another album...........anyone out there have any inside information?

Hi Liz, I started watching this series last week. Now I am in Season 3 so up to now there isn't Alanis. I love this series, haven't heard about it before, maybe here they weren't showing it on tv and think they will not since it involves weed, many people will start moaning I guess. I have watched a lot of series is winter and now they stopped so I downloaded it to see what it's about. I'm loving it. Spent the whole afternoons and evenings watching episodes.
On the official site it says that Alanis is a special guest but cannot find what her role is.

Unfortunately due to its subject matter, this show is only aired on showtime (which i do not subscribe to thru my cable provider...so i too have to wait to be able to download it each week)
If you are only into season three, then i will not spoil anything for you by giving any details as to why Alanis' character joins the show.....you'll just have to continue watching! beleive me....it just keeps getting more and more interesting! But i will tell you that she doesn't appear in an episode until about 4 or 5 shows into the 4th season....and it was only for a few minutes on last weeks show. I am hoping that as the plot line continues she will get more air time!

I think by the end of the weekend I would have started season 4 and will see her then. Here we don't even get Showtime!

Alanis is doing a great job as Uncle Andy's new paramour! I think it's great that she's making the jump from music to acting, and she's pretty good at it too!

Awesome...unfortunately i am a few weeks behind on the newer episodes, as i have to wait for my brother to download them for me (my computer is kinda crappy..) He is actually gonna bring his x-box down later today so we can sit down and watch them and catch up...the last one i saw was the first one that alanis was on for just a minute or two....can't wait to see where the story goes..
