I think it was a success!!!  

Last night I had a charity event to raise money for the 3-Day Walk I am doing in October. This event benefits Susan G Komen for the Cure and is something I have become very passionate about. One of the local restaurants around here has a program called Funds for Friends where they donate 10% of the sales for the entire day to a cause. Yesterday was my day! I don't know how the daytime went, but when I got there around 5:30 the place was pretty busy. Unfortunately, it slowed down around 8, but I think I might have still done pretty well. I wont know for sure for a couple weeks.

One of the things that I did during the night was have a few raffles. I raffled off a $50 Home Depot Gift Card, and I-Pod shuffle with a $25 I-Tunes gift card, a Beijo pink ribbon bag, and I also had a 50/50 drawing. From all of those I raised $169!

I should be about halfway to my minimum to raise for the event, although I don't know that I'll reach my personal minimum.
