You know, when I first read your question without the details, I thought to myself mine is being a nice guy, but I'm not going to say thagt or answer this one. Then I read on. YOU ARE SO SO RIGHT!!! It's sad, isn't it? The people that treat other pelople like garbage are the ones that get the most respect. "nice guys finish last." No excuse. Or, like my girlfriend said to me about a month ago, "isn't it sad when people do things out of love and they're looked upon as weak?" I thought, you don't have to tell me that, I've lived that my whole life. And maybe she doesn't know it, but she treats me like that too. Not only that but respect. You respect people too much and it goes against you. Doesn't it occur to people that rather than being a wimp or weak, we're just treating people the way we feel they want to be treated.

I totally agree. I was always the person that would help anyone, and felt like I got nothing in return. But eventually that changed. Nice guys do finish last. I am a living testiment to that.

My biggest mistake is letting people walk on me when I was younger. I also let people make me feel like I was nothing, or not important. It took alot of self thought to turn that around. I now feel better about myself than ever.

Everything from being depressed, feeling like I wasnt good enough to go certain places. Part of my problem, was that I lost my brother whenI was 16, and thats when alot of my issues came into play.
