Do you switch channels during TV ads?

hi,
i don't change channels usually when watching TV, i simply don't concentrate on the ads and just think about something else, i think too much, when the break comes, my mind wanders somewhere else and i am back to my program in no time... i just find it lazy to sometimes just to change the channel to get rid of ads, just don't pay attention to them...

Well it kind of depends. If there are two great Tv shows that are on at the same time that I absolutely love, then I would normally watch the one that I like a bit more, or I won't watch the one that can be viewed on the internet. On the adds, I will then switch the channel to see a bit of the show. Otherwise, I just leave it and get bored. I mean no one really looks at adds anyway. They just doodle around with there fingers.

Sometimes the ads are more interesting with innovative ideas.Especially the ads in the prime time are very nice to watch.I am a fan of such ads where I even don't mind to watch the programs at all.A recent example is the ads with,Joo Joo.
In fact tv ads have to be made interesting to arrest the audience and to pull their attraction towards the products advertised.Personally I enjoy watching ads but will not carried away with what they advertise.Cheers!

I don't like watching tv ads or commercials. I always change the channel back and forth between 2 or 3 programs to avoid them. I've been doing it so long that I rarely miss my important show .... never know when a tidbit will escape if you don't flip back over fast enough. I'm sure that some of the commercials have the point that they want you to buy their product because it's better than the leading brands. At least that's what I always got out of them. I think it brainwashes ya if you listen to it to often. LOL

sometimes i do! especially when the commercial break is too long! sometimes i already know when the program is coming back...hehehe and so i know when to switch channel back again...
bu switching channel for me is just okay if i am watching alone, coz i remember my father is always doing that and it annoys me and my mom coz most of the time we miss some part of the program we are watching due to that switching addiction of my father! hehehe
there are some tv ads that i like watching, like ads that features babie and smart kids...there's really some ads that's fun to watch...
now i don't switch channel much coz whenever its commercial...i just go here in the computer and do some responses and comments here on mylot!

Yes I do that all the time. The commercials for the most part are boring and I feel like I'm wasting time. So either I change the channel to see what else is on or I get up and do something that needs to be done around the house.

Hi there, well it depends on my mood. There are times that i want to stick in the show i am watching so i dont switch channel. But if not really good i do switch channel everytime especially during commercial break. But sometimes my daughter's want to see some commercial she even have her favorite commercials so i dont change channel. Anyway, keep on mylotting, hope i can make sense here. Goodluck.

For me it depends really. If what I am watching is lengthy, and I know for a fact that too many ads are going to be shown, I normally go around finishing other work.
If its a short break and some rather interesting ads are shown, I don't surf.
But when ads that I have seen already and don't really like all that much are shown, I surf.

yes. I switch channels during TV ads. I think is so boring.but some ads are good,maybe at that time I can not switch the channels. actually a few times.

Oh YES! Why not? Why sit there watching ads when there are chances that there might be something more interesting on other channels. I love surfing the channels and contrary to popular believe that only men hog the remote, I do that too at home, much to my husband's dismay.
