Do you still read newspaper in this age of TV and Internet?

I do still read a physical newspaper, but I think it's mostly because when I'm at work, and I go to take my lunch break, often it's the only thing around to occupy my brain while I'm not working. I do have to admit that I get most of my news from the internet... when I read a newspaper I head straight for the comics and horoscopes, or the section with what's happening in the area this weekend. But there is something satisfying about the feel of a newspaper. Something about the way it smells, and the way the pages sound and the way it smudges off on your fingers. Maybe it's because my dad used to read the paper every morning, so it reminds me of him, and it's comforting.

I do read newspaper almost daily. Apart from the news ( which we can see on TV/ net as well), I love to read editorials,the quotes by famous people etc.It helps improve ones language for sure.

I don't like reading e-paper. It just feels strange to me. Call me old fashioned, but I love to sit down on the couch or bed and read my newspaper, with the feeling of paper in hand.

Yes reading a newspaper is a different experience then just reading a epaper.. Epaper might cover news of around the world and the latest updates but the newspaper gives information of the local news around the city and the area that we stay in.. it also gives us information of the local offers available...

I love newspaper to read still.It is nice to have a newspaper in the early morning with a cup of coffee.More than that all the family members cannot have e-papers and so for their sake at least we have to subscribe for one at our house.In fact,news papers cannot be beaten by e-papers as there are more fans for them.They are just unavoidable in tea shops in our country.Cheers!

If i were married i possibly could live without my wife for a few days, but cant survive without newspapers for one day. I was initiated to reading newpapers and periodicals from a very young age. I am addicted to it. So i am willing to divorce my non-existing wife but am life long married to newpapers.

I love to read newspapers. Although you are getting instant news in the television and Internet, still Newspaper is the best bet and you just cannot beat them. I love reading newspapers and that is the place where you can get an In detail analysis of whatever you wish to have and nothing can replace newspaper upon that. I always read newspaper in the public library as I find it difficult to afford for newpapers and other magazines on a daily and weekly basis respectively.

I still read the printed newspaper and almost everyday. I agree that we can read all this from internet. You need a lot of time to check the headlines and to read it. So, I prefer to do it in my leisure time and the printed one. I think I have a lot more important thing to do when I was online. And the good examples is posting a response or give comment at mylot . FYI, I didn't buy that newspaper. My friend always bring it back from his work place.

Yes i read newspaper daily,inspite of having tv and internet.By reading news paper you will get a lot of information.You can improve your speaking skill.You will find many new word.In this way you can improve your vocabulary also.Reading news paper is good habit.I suggest everyone to read news paper to improve there communication skills.

yes I do.
I think reading and watching are very different experiences. when i feel tired i prefer to read instead of watching TV.
Also i think reading can give me more informations i need. And i can practice my informative skills.
I think no matter the Tv and internet control our life we still need newspaper and book.
