what do you think of friendship gone romance?

i have a friend who proposed to his bestfriend.. i was so surprised since the pair was unlikely to be romantic..they are good as friends but i doubted they would go beyond that...i even don't know that they have become romantically involved...anyways, though shocked i was happy for them... i also recently read a novel and one of the main characters married her bestfriend..but their marriage turned sour and worse, they divorced..i am not done reading anyways and i have to learn how it happened, though i know that it is pretty quite possible.. i just hope that would not happen to my friend...

I'm living proof that one can fall in love with your best friend! he fell for me first and he waited for me to realize what I felt Was love. I Know that marriage isn't for me so I will never marry him so we , Hopefully, will make it.

Friends turned to lovers that's possible...that's one of the best ways to select a lover. Since you became a friends first you know each other well than someone whom you just met and never know yet the whole attitude and quality of that woman/man. If both of them understand each other well then, why not...it's up to them how they would nurture their relationship...
