I am sorry but i am not a book reader. I would easily be sleepy when I would read books, newspapers would just be fine because it's current happenings on our environment...books I guess I am not use to it...Thanks

No,I have not read the books you have mentioned but I just completed reading The Kite Runner by Kahled Hosseini. The novel is fable-like,spanning two continents and the story-teller has the power to hold your interest till the end.The story beautifully describes the relationship between a boy Amir and his servant Hassan who grow up together, feeding from the same woman who nursed them as one loses his mother and the other boy's mother deserts him after birth. The moment of Amir's ultimate betrayal of Hassan strikes a deep chord in the heart and is intensely shocking.I found the novel extremely absorbing. It roused every possible emotion in me.This book,I feel is a must read.I am now eagerly waiting to watch the movie as it ahs not released India as yet. :-)

http://www.ken-follett.com/bibliography/the_pillars_of_the_earth.html This an old book but one of the best I've ever read I live in Mexico and was headed there, however I can't find books in English there, so I stopped at the library in Laredo TX and they had a book sale. All paperbacks .25 and hardcovers .50 so I stocked and picked several of my favorite authors! Ken Follet and Sidney Sheldon are awesome Authors I'd highly recommend all their novels to anyone! But Pillars of the Earth is sooooo god, I can't figure how the authors can even keep track of their stories sometimes! If you ever get a chance to get this book go for it! tdemex
