which is better, LOTR or Harry Potter, in terms of movie adaptation?  | |  i have read both.. the LOTR(Lord of the Rings) trilogy and HArry Potter ( Books 1-6)..as to their movie adaptation, i think LOTR is better and more exciting..in Harry Potter, many details in the book were not included in the movie..though i still like them...i am planning to watch the 6th helping of Harry Potter...i hope it is worth it..

| | | 3. rodarose (29) | 4 months ago |  Hello! I have read both titles too. I would say that the books were all brilliant but the movie adaptations of LOTR were way better than those of HP. Maybe that's because HP books have a lot of characters and events in them that the movie producers find it very tedious to include them all in the movie. Hence, not so accurate movie adaptations.
