They say Flying Dreams are very common to people who are creative and with imaginative personality. Some say it's a symbol of one's psychic ability. Some talk about dream lucidity (when in your dream you're aware that you are dreaming) which is fun with flying dreams. Have you dreamt flying?

I have had dreams of flying before and I was aware I was dreaming, but one dream I had a few years ago seemed real, and I'll never forget it. It's too long and involved to relay the entire dream but basically I had the realization that God placed me here on this earth for a reason and I'm on my own pathway of learning as is everyone of course, but I felt like I got the message from God Himself, it gives me chills when I think of it because the afterlife played a big part in this dream, and I got a sense of peace that He is saving me for something, I don't know exactly what it is yet, but I'm slowly finding it out. In certain parts of the dream it was terrifying but when I was flying, there was a sense of relief that I know God is there and He is listening to all of us, whether we believe or not, and there was one point when I was carrying a black girl who was lighweight and she told me her name was Jillian. In this dream I told her I would always remember her in my prayers. The meaning of it I have no idea, but thank you for reminding me of it. I do still remember her in my daily prayers.

Yes, I've had many flying dreams.
They are my favorite!
I don't have to flap my arms or anything. My arms always stay to my sides. I fly and swoop over landscapes and buildings in the rural countryside. I can control my "power" of rising and swooping by my brain!
It's really hard to describe. Like concentrating real hard to gain power to pull up at the last second. But then it's real scary when I get very high. Wish I had them more often.

I am an extremely creative person with a fabulous imagination but I have never had a flying dream. As for my psychic ability I am not sure it is all there...I have also never had a lucid dream. During my dreams I am always convinced that it is really happening. I have never once thought during my dream, "hey, I am sleeping...I have control!"
I don't know if that would be disturbing to me or not. I know lots of people who have had them and they love it but I like my dreams to be dreams.

if it's too good and makes me really feel good, i'd like my dreams not to be just dreams :)

Flying dreams.........
Hello friend, yes, just last night I had a dream that I was flying. At first I was finding it hard to believe that I could actually fly but I think it was more on a spiritual level because I believe that I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me so why then should it be so difficult to believe that I could fly? While in the dream I realized what I was doing and it was the most magnificent thing that I've ever experienced before. What a release of all of my preconceived notions.
