read or watch manga?

I prefer watching because it's faster. I can see the movement,hear the background music (which enable me to feel the situation) and hear each character sounds. So i prefer watching than read^^,, but it needs much memory to safe in computer so now I only read manga-scan...

What u mean by "watching manga"? U only look on images and dont read text in bubbles? i cant do that... i like image(ecchi:D), but i love story. watching manga without reading is like bread without butter or body without spirit/soul! u should begin read manga.

hmm. both reading and watching give a very different impression. i do not really have any preference but normally i will do both. it will let u enjoy the story throughly:):)

Anime is the show, Manga is the Comic. Just to get it out of the way.
I think it depends on the anime/manga. I love to read AND watch Death Note, I couldnt Imagine reading the Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, Witch hunter Robin, Ghost in the Shell or Kiba manga instead of watching them. Likewise, I Cant stand the Naruto Anime. (listing some of the more known anime that I like)
Sometimes you can only get one or the other.
Some anime dont work as manga, and some manga dont work well as anime.
That said, I do tend to lean towards watching Anime, since it is easier and less time consuming. When I find a good manga, I tend to keep reading untill I reach the end, it's easier to control myself with an Anime. Its also a lot easier to not have to turn a page, open a new page (when using internet) and return to the top. Anime can be easier to follow as well, since Manga can sometimes be hard to follow and cluttered.
Manga tend to have better art though for obvious reasons.

i prefer reading manga. I almost start reading manga about a year now. I am addicted in reading manga. as of now there are more than ten manga i read. like ichifo, onepiece naruto, hajime no ippo and many more

THe manga is more advance than the anime. Also it is the true storyline rather than in anime. Andin manga you can stop reading whatever the chapter is. I notice in the anime They change the dialogue, color, character etc.

For me reading manga is the best rather than watching.

Even though i am fond of mangas, i still prefer to see them in action because i love the effects especially if its a japanese manga. I love to it i action.

I prefer watching as I like to see motion and hear voices. However, I do like to read manga too as you can do that anywhere.
