Do you still watch WWE shows? With the rising popularity of MMA, it seems WWE is being dislodged in its market.

I don't watch WWE as much as I used to, but it is because they just keep doing the same stuff over and over, not because of MMA. To be honest, I don't think it would be fair to compare MMA to the likes of WWE, or professional wrestling as a whole. They are pretty much completly different.
MMA is 100% real to my knowledge, while professional wrestling is scripted. I do watch other professional wrestling promotions AND I watch various MMA companies.

You got a good point there. WWE and UFC are entirely different form of entertainment. People should stop comparing them at all by saying " WWE sucks because it's not real". People should start seeing that WWE is just pure entertainment. It should be treated like watching a movie with story lines and characters. But i don't think its entirely fake at all. The possibility of getting injured is still there (e.g. Stone Cold breaking his neck or Shawn Michaels crushing his vertebrae) and the fact that those wrestlers are willing to take risk to entertain people should make people accord them respect.

I didn't know about this news. My brother is very fond of WWE and he watches it often. I was also very fond of it when I was a kid, leter, I mean recently only I found that it is only for entertainment and it is not real. That made me loose interest in it, but my brother still watches it, he didn't agree when I told that it is fake.

Well, it is not completly "fake". First, scripted would be a better term. Secondly, it does take alot of work to become a professional wrestler. There are storylines, but there is also alot of legitimate injuries. Although they know what they are going to be doing and who is going to win, they still have to actually do the moves. In order to do the moves, you do have to be in very good shape. How do I know this? I personally know a few indy wrestlers. One of them lost a chunk of their tongue during a match!
There is also several different types...WWE would be 100% wrestling entertainment. TNA is part professional wrestling, part wrestling entertainment. ROH is mainly professional wrestling. I could go on and on...
