In touch with grade school friends?

Yes i am still in touch with SOME of my grade school friends. We usually went to the same high school. Now that we are graduate in college, i still get to keep in touch with some of them. My other classmates who transferred at an early age can not recognize me so i might as well move on and look for new friends!

Yes, I am in communication with a few of my elementary school friends. However, most of the students that went to school with me have grown up and moved from the area we grew up in. The friends are few, but very committed to our friendship. Our relationships have stay solid, the sign of true friends.

It's been almost 13 years now since I graduated from elementary and 20 years since I started out as an elementary student but it seems that the memories I had is still so fresh as if it just happened yesterday. I no longer live in the place where I spent my elementary days but I still see some of my elementary classmates and friends, in fact, we all live in the same city. When we see each other, it seems that nothing have changed. We all still fool around as if we were kids way back and even tease each other with our crushes before. It's both fun and sad. Fun that despite the time, distance, and everything that we've all gone through in our lives, we are all still together and are all still keeping in touch with each other. It's also sad sometimes because we all want to go back to those days and experience it once again.

We lived a very simple life during our elementary and high school days because we lived in a very rural area where the main means of entertainment and pastime are playing basketball and watching television which had very limited number of channels. Computers are still so few during the 90's in our place. Because of such, we always see each other everyday and play every afternoon. Not all of my elementary classmates pushed through high school in our school. Most of them transferred. Most of us met once again in college since most of us went to the city already.

Nearly 20 years have already passed and it seems that nothing have changed. Yes, we've grown older and became more mature in some ways but once we are all together, there's still this kids in us that are longing to get out and do the usual things that we used to do before. We are even talking and planning on going back to our school one of these days. It's just so great to reminisce the past and see how far we've already gone in our lives.
