I like Gandhi very much...and I still rate him as greatest person of a era.But when I read about the Gandhi treat Harilal Gandhi(elder son)I felt something different for a few days.May Gandhi become an ordinary Father in case of education of his son.Did you ever heard about Gandhi not sending his son to England for higher education? What did you felt at that moment

Gandhi was an embodiment of NPT (nonviolence, peace and truth). Besises this, he was the key leading figure of 'Swadeshi' movement. That might have been the main reason for which, he didn't send his son to England for higher education. Moreover, he was leading the freedom struggle of our country against the Britishers! Thanks for this nice discussion!

Maybe he just didn't want him to go because he may miss him or maybe because he already has thought of his plan of a passive resistance and didn't want his son to be in danger in England once the resistance or rally begins.....thats what i think.
