I have noticed in the last several years that flip flops have certainly made a big comeback! They were popular when I was a kid, but not as popular as they are now. My goodness, you can buy them anywhere, any different color, shape, size whatever...and now in a magazine I was looking at yesterday they sell pillows shaped like flip flops...my neighbor up the street has a flip flop flag hanging up...so how many pairs of flip flops do you have? What colors do you have? Do you have a favorite pair? Up until this summer I only had 2 pairs...one was pink & beige & they hurt the side of my foot so bad that I don't wear them, the other pair are black with shiny things on the straps & I bought them for a wedding. This year I bought 2 pairs from Payless when they were on sale. They are both black, but one has blue incoporated in the straps, the other pair has designs on the sole & the strap is pink...then I bought 2 pair at the dollar store...both are pink with stars on one & the other has hearts on the sole....so it seems like I am caught up in this flip flop thing! Do you think its gonna last or do you think in another year or 2 no one will be wearing flip flops & we'll have a closet full of old flip flops?

I own around three pairs- I'm not a flip flop freak, but they are sure nice to have around. They're so convenient- when I'm running to the store, i just slide a pair on.
I don't like to have many shoes in my house, but flip flops i like to wear .I think it is durable so i have 3-4 items include old and new items.

I love flip flops! I moved to Mexico from the US since I have been here I wear nothing else! I probably had about a dozen pairs until last week when the dog that I adopted thought that they were her toys and chewed them all up! I have bought 4 pairs this week, a pink and grey pair, a turquoise and white pair, a brown pair and a black and white pair. They are all so.......comfortable that I can´t imagine ever wearing real shoes again!

I have two pairs only. One pair in white for inside the house another black pair for going out. They have new flip flops with a pull out under the sole to put money or key in. Have you seen thoses. That was a great idea.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE FLIP FLOPS! Especially the thick heel ones. I want to get one in every color. I have about eight pairs now but want more in all colors I have in my clothes in the closet. I think they will be around for a long time. ANd if you live in warm climates you will enjoys them more. Og, how I would live to live in Florida.....
