Ok so every night i look at odd news and facts about the world..which i love and love to share here..well i found one that is soo so sad to me..now i am a BBW and i dont mind..its happened since i became disabled and hur tmy back when i was working..but this piece just breaks my heart..apparently..there is a 9 yr old boy in Russia..and weighs a whopping 232 lbs! ouchhh!!! and this is what the article says.. " Dzhambik Khatokhov is believed to be the world's fattest child. But the wrestling fanatic - known as Jambik - insists he is happy with his size and has no intention of losing weight. His mother, Nelya, 42, claims Jambik is like any healthy, growing child and refuses to put him on a diet despite severe health warnings. She told The Sun: 'He is just growing - upwards and outwards. What can I do about it? This is who he is, this is how God created him.' Ok first..it wasnt God..it was his parents..for not watchin what he eats and makin sure he gets no exercise..and refuse to let him go on a diet..i think the child should have been rempved from the house or forced to do sumtin about his weight or badd med probs will come..so my question is..what would u do in this situation??

I disagree with the mother. Being over weight kills you slowly, and you suffer heavily. The poor boy won't be able to run around with all the other kids, or even breath well in general. Also being over weight leads to other serious diseases. I doubt god would have intended to torture the boy like what hes about to encounter if he doesn't lose weight soon. The mother probably just doesn't want to admit to her mistake and make her child feel bad.

I have a brother that started out hefty as a newborn and grew up hefty. It is harder on kids that are overweight especially as they become adults and have more health problems. After a certain weight it's virtually impossible to lose it on your own and some get so depressed that they don't want to go on living. I think that part of having kids is to balance good eating habits with happy living. Kids can be happy having ice cream for dessert and at the same time knowing that spending the day eating donuts, cookies and candies is a big no-no.
