 It is said that the Doctors found a new disease... and had no cure to it...
and at the end of the movie Jenny dies..
What do you think the disease was.. was it communicable.. if so we should certainly be thinking of whether forrest is also affected..??

| bigott (333) | 4 months ago |  It can be but I think Jenny got that disease after she 'left him again' when Forrest was on a run for 3 years.Moreover the final stage of HIV usually do not cause disease in a healthy immune system so she was looking more or less normal in the very last of the movie.

In one of the shots of jenny when she was in the bedroom after the party at new years, you can clearly see that drugs have been used, and probably shared, so the chances she got it are fairly believable. Also, if she had it then so would Forrest Jr. the infection is passed through the blood, so while he was in the womb= fine, but during birth he would have contracted it....unless she had a C-section which is a WHOLE other discussion! | |
