Which one to choose or better?

What is the best butter or margarine you can use for baking cake and/or cookies?
i loving baking cake and cookies but i notice the type of butter or the margarine i purchase tends to mess up the whole recipe... so can anyone recommend 2 or 3 brands that i can use. thanks

I for sure like to cook with different types of butter. My favorite type (which is offered in Canada, i'm not sure if it's offered anywhere else) of butter is neilson butter. It's cheaper and it's works really well in my baking. I find that margarine has a different taste and makes a difference in the baking. Generally it doesn't have as good a taste.
