why are there so many car accidents People who are at fault in a car accident needs to go take the class over again I feel car accidents can be avoided if every one was required to take defense driving classes and if who ever was at fault was required to the writen test all over again any other suggestions how we can avoid car accidents?

Well for one the population has so increased which in return makes more cars on the roads. But the test has not changed for years and the laws for that matter haven't really either. With growth things have to change. The other problem is we are living in such a fast paced world, everyone is rush rush rush. I think that we should have to take a defensive driving test, but in a way it would be more of a common sense test. These days not many people even take the time to use their common sense. I think lots of accidents could be avoided if everyone would just slow down and pay attention.

I think everyone just needs to be more careful. No matter how many classes someone takes if they are careless they are just careless. There is pretty much nothing you can do about that. Everyone needs to be more careful and get off the phone when they are driving, the phone alone causes plenty of accidents.

I think there are so many car accidents because people think that to drive is a right, and not a privilage. If people only took driving more seriously, and took responsibility for their actions, there would be far less car accidents. Again driving is a privilage to be taken seriously, not a right to be handed out to anyone.

I think it's everyone's responsibility to avoid accidents. Even driving too slow can cause it. Can you expect others' to tail behind when you're driving slower than a tortoise (that's a metaphor~~~) Driving too fast is a big problem as well.
For the ones involve with accidents, taking a test again might work. It's not about learning again but taking the test again can be a pain.

It's useless if someone taking any driving theory classes but in the real application on the road, they ignoring or forgot the basic of safety driving just because of the unstable emotions and low consciousness... So, the best way to avoid car or any vehicles accidents is to create a teleport machine like in Star-Trek movies... {em]lol[/em]
