Are we on the way to recover from the recession?

The stock market is rising again on the past few days. The bailout plan from last winter, while Obama was elected president, is on the way to initiate on this late summer time to help fund the small businesses. So, there will be sufficient funds flowing to help those small businesses, or entrepreneurs. Do you think that our economy is on the way to recover soon?

As a matter of fact, I wrote an article over a year ago about this -- http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/903445/banks_in_crisis_are_we_in_a_depression.html?cat=9
Looking back a year ago, I think most of us were much better off financially than we are today. I think fewer people were unemployed, pay rates were slightly higher perhaps, interest rates kept falling for deposit accounts, banks were in trouble (before the infamous bailouts!), and people were beginning to get laid off.
Recently (over the last week or so) it seems as though the stock market has been rising a bit, but I am not getting my hopes up. I am picking up a second job and hoping to save just a little extra, as much as possibly actually, to be sure I am safe no matter what happens.
I SURELY HOPE the economy is on its way to recovery! I used to work in a bank and saw SOOO many unemployment checks. It was very distressing to me. I have actually moved out of state and had to find a new full-time job. I had to take a pay cut and will be driving further to get to work, but it really was all I could find. I am still looking for a better job, but, for now, I have to just take what I can get.
BEST WISHES to everyone! Let's hope things improve soon.

It's already started. I'm unemployed but the job sites are indicating an economic recovery is started in certain areas. But all people care about is me, me, me, so they won't be happy until they get a job which may take awhile. So I guess my question to you is define recovery?

It's a slow recovery. My father still doesn't have a job.
