You are absolutely correct. If you don't expect great things to happen, and then they don't... who cares, right? You didn't expect them to happen anyway. But then when something good does actually happen, you're like wow!! You have to be that way with people too. I never expect anything from them. People are self-centered and also a little dumb...so you can't expect miracles from them. But every now and then they surprise you...and it's great because the important part is that you didn't even expect it.*The only intelligent, genuine creatures on this earth are animals.
