Starting a social service organization

Hi. Im from India and I have been thinking of starting a non-profit organization which does charity and service to the community. There are many people stricken by poverty and I wish to help them for food, education, and providing many facilities that they have no access to. I do not have much money on hand but I have an efficient network of people with intellectuals, philanthropists and politicians. How do I go about starting the organization?
