Have you often found yourself more like Sam in the transformer, in real life?

In the movie TRANSFORMER, it will not be easy to forget the conversation between Optimus Prime and Sam in the cemetery. Optimus was asking help from Sam for the people to hear them, He needs an advocate in a sense. But Sam bluntly said that he is just an ordinary teenager who has ordinary problems(which is not even easy for him to handle), so the idea of helping giant and powerful robots seem an absurd even a ridiculous idea... not a difficult thing to refuse from an already indifferent young man. He even said that it is not his fight anymore. Optimus, the ever gentle and secure leader that he is did not insist on what he thinks... yet i like the idea that he did not stop himself to make his intentions known by Sam. He said "It may not be your fight, for now" There is wisdom and truth to what he said. The fight may not involve Sam at the moment they talk, but eventually it became his own. In life, we often just pick out the fight that we like, fight that we think we can handle, sometimes even a sure win for us. We often miss to consider the life of other people (or robots in their case) who will be highly affected by the immediate circumstances. We just want peace and order, or so we think.

The only time i pick a fight is when my brother and sister in law was preparing their wedding and her office mates are getting into my nerve. For always have something to say on how to prepare the wedding, from the invitations to the flower girls dress to the give aways. It really pissed me off because if we need their opinion, we would ask for it, if we needed their help, we would ask for it, but then, we want to handle things are way and theyre there always saying negative about all it and my sister in law has kept her mouth shut because she dont want trouble. I cant stand idly when someones doing bad to my family. As for Sam, im sorry i havent seen the movie, i know i mentioned on another discussion that ill be watching it but ive really been busy for the past week, ill catch up with DVD as soon as its out. But being given that great responsibility, i think its really great. How are you going to handly something like that. Youre right, s lot of things to consider, people and robots. And u just encourage me to really watch it.
