Are you on medicine? At what age did your doctor prescribe the medicine?

Are you on medicine? At what age did your doctor prescribe the medicine? What health conditions do you have and do they run in your family? My husband has diabeties, high blood pressure,cholestorol, and he found all this out when he was in his early 30s. Is that a normal age to start having self maintenance problems?

Nope, I don't take any medicine except an aspirin. My Hubby is on blood pressure pills and has been since his early 20's...he caught Scarlet Fever off a soda can as a kid and it almost killed him...since then he's had a weak heart. [b]~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**[/b]

Wow! That must have been horrible. My cousin had rubella when she was a kid so she was never able to do much physically because she too had a weak heart from it. I always thought is was so strange. She looked so athletic and couldn't DO anything.

Lucky you. I had to start taking blood pressure medicine but I think valium would have done the trick just as well. LOL
