Freddie Flintoff has quit Test cricket. Some say that he retired from Test cricket just for the sake of playing in the IPL to make gast bucks.Same with Adam Gilchrist & Matthew Hayden. Both were in prime form when they abruptly retired from all forms of cricket just to make themselves available to play in the IPL.
Is it a good trend that players retiring early just for the sake of money? Or is it their thinking for the future as everyone knows that the cricket boards other than India are not rich enough to make them rich even they play for their country life long?Whats your say?

hi...thanks for this discussion....yes i think that is one of reason for retirement for early key players.......flint off has some concrete reason of his knee injury and the Matthew Hayden bad patch is not going to cover..i think that they are just looking about the future and future tell that the money is bigger.....
