Can you give me suggestions? What is the fastest ISP here in the Philippines which is for 999/month? My current service provider sucks! It gives me a lot of headache. The connection is always intermittent. The installers of this ISP are liars. They asked us to pay 600 pesos more, promising that we will have no problem with our connection.

For me it's still pldt dsl, but mine is 2000/month + landline 700+, I've been using it since 2002, and very little problem so far, I have 10 pc's and it can accommodate all of them. My sister used Smartbro last year and after they completed the contract time of one year they change to new pldtmydsl 999 and they have no problem so far too..

as of now, the most stable internet connection to my knowledge is still pldt, the only problem with them is their after sale service, if you have problems it takes forever before a technician will reach you. I tried bayantel, but the connection always gets disconnected, although I have a nephew who is subscribed to bayantel and he said that his connection is fine, but for us here pldt is still the best. Globe we haven't tried although they say they have good internet connection. I guess all of the service providers have problems of their own, it's a matter of finding the right one that you can live with...

By all means DSL services is the fastest throughout the world... Cable connection is far better & faster than wireless routers...& connection on DSL is very stable rain or shine... I have compared the kbps/ download/upload on both 1 mbit connection between PLDT DSL & Globe Broadband... PLDT maximum download/upload on 1mbit is 130/70 kbps while Globe Broadband is a dissapointing 80/40 kbps only. Both have same monthly payment plan of 999.oo pesos.
