How will you know that you're old/mature enough to get married?  | |  Good Day MyLotters! I just thought of the topic... How will you know that you're at the right age or maturity level to get married?
What my mother taught me you have to be physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually ready.. If me and my future husband achieve this then everything will fall into places accordingly.
As you follow the trend, 25 years ago the average age to get married was 25 years old. Now, age of getting married is on the latter part.. I'm 27 now, and thinking if ever I did get married when I was 25, I'd pity my husband. Maybe because I was not that mature enough to be for a lifetime commitment. Honestly, upto now I still feel I'm not as good as my mom, thinking about that I'm getting married next year.
Anyway, to my fellow MyLotters (especially those who are married), how did you know that you are ready?

I had a feeling when I was ready to date - when I was ready to kiss and everything like that.. it just comes naturally. When you feel like ready to marry - and your guy too - the times is there:D For some is it when fifty some is it twenty.. it does not matter - what matters is LOVE:D<3

For my own opinion, BEING READY means being up for the challenge. And challenges comes to our life once in a while or possible struggle for everyday living/neccessities.
Yes, your mother are VERY CORRECT. Being ready means you are stable to all aspects in life. Getting married is your first Challenge going in the scene of being husband and wife. This challenge is very crucial and lots of devotion to take. So think hard since this is your first marriage. ( Don't worry divorce is always a good option for bad marriage).
P.S.
Try to have a heart to heart talk to your mom. She might give you advise/inspiration. For I believe mother's knows best.
