This Job Economy Sucks  

Try for every paid survey you can find as a starter. A buck is a buck!
And then go for the little money makers but they do pay like microworker and mturk.
Again not get rich but it all adds up.

I know that ramen noodle and hot dog diet gets old very quick!

I am so sorry for your situation! I am sure you are not alone. Have you tried looking into your local paper? I mean delivering it at night? Around here, they are almost always looking for delivery personel. At least this would leave you free during the day to explore a more meaningful job. let me know how it goes. Good luck and try to stay focused--I know this willnot be easy!!

It is a total pain in the butt what you are going through but at least you are on here developing income streams. I hope it works for you and you end up building a nice little online income. It is a slog but at least you haven't thrown in the towel

I am sorry to hear that you lost your job. It can feel sole destroying to keep applying for jobs and to keep on getting rejection letters. In the early 1990s my country had a bad recession. In 1991 I had a fantastic job in a ship brokers in London and I had bought a nice little cottage in a village one and a half hours away from my job. I had hoped to work there for five years then get a job in a town near my cottage. However I was made redundant. I tried very hard to get another job but it was way too challenging. I had to let my cottage out and go off traveling overseas. I got a working holiday visa for Australia. With my savings I bought an airline ticket. So I traveled for just over one year with £400 a month coming in from renting out my home. I found lots of work in Australia. I worked as a children's nanny and as charity worker dressed up as a koala. If I had stayed at home my money situation would have got worse. I went off overseas whilst I could still afford to. When I came home I did further study and became a teacher. Good luck.
