Do you believe bicycles should be licensed to be on the road! Along with their riders!?

hello there.. well, i don't have any idea...coz i seldom see ppl here in our city, coz the city is on a top of a mountain, so i think, only athletes really dare to ride bicycles here ... and i only saw little children riding bicycles at the park...

I lived in the Netherlands for four months when I was a student. Almost every person has a bike there and young children can be put on the back of their parents bikes. There are so many cycle paths and even on the road cycling is safe. No driver would hit into or run over a cyclist. The laws are very much keen on protecting cyclists safety. Bike power is good for the environment and the cyclists health. There should be laws for the safety but I don't think there is a need to register bikes and their riders.

Yes I do! In many countries one needs to have passed a proper handling test and needs to know the road signs and signals well. There are some awful bike riders around, a real liability, but then again there are some even worse car drivers!
