3.  rebeccajean (366) | 5 months ago |  I have never heard of Regine. I looked up Regine on the Internet and information came up on some woman named Regine Velasquez. Is this who you are talking about? I saw a video on YouTube, but it was in a foreign language. I am not familiar with Regine.
However, I enjoy Mariah Carey's music. I have been a fan of Maria for a long time and she has a beautiful voice. I will have to say Mariah is a better singer because I know who she is.

But for me I still go for Mariah Carey coz I love her style very unique.,.. and the type of songs... she's so hot performing.. beside her Love takes time song is on my top ten fave songs...
Wait I dont know if its true there's an instances that Mariah Carey called Regine Velasquez a monkey I dont know why maybe becous i heard is that Regine Velasquez is a copycat.. I dont know if its true.. hope its not.. I love Mariah Carey,, and I do like Regine Velasquez

Mariah Carey will go down in Music History as the Greatest Female Vocalist/Singer of All Time... She had the Most number of #1 singles for a female artist in Billboard history & Top charts around the Globe...& during her Prime...she really has a vocal prowess that is still unmatched up to this day... I'd still prefer the innocent looking Mariah of yesterdays than her sexy image of today.

But if you were to compare them, then I'll say its without any doubts that Mariah wins hands down. Mariah Carey is well-known at International level and whereas Regine is better known only in Asia, but in terms of vocal wise, they both come close with Mariah winning by a close margin I'll say. | |

There was a music video where she copied mariah's top in Heartbreaker..and the butterfly too. I like Regine whge she was still new in the industry, when never had not tried to copy other artist especially Mariah. I love Mariah's voice and music. Because she never tried to copy another singer. | |
