how to handle a naughty son?

my son is 1 and a half years old he is very naughty.. if i am not with him for a moment , he will break something or the other. we already repaired our TV,Digi cam, computer, mobile etc... now we have kept some chairs around the tv to protect it from him... and now he started climbing on chairs also... we are planning to get a wall mount tv now.. If we give some toys also he will break it in a day or two.if i am doing something on the computer or surfing the net , he will keep on pulling the mouse, or will come and turn off the UPS itself. i dont know how to control him. anybody pls help....
