Whats wrong with my ipod touch and how do i fix it?

okay so i was on my ipod with my friends looking up cheats for GTA 4 and when i wasdone i turned it off by just clicking that Button at the top any way when i tried to turn itback on (by clicking the square thing in the middle) it wouldn't so i plugged it in tocharge it and nothing WHAT SHOULD I DO BE SPECIFIC!!!
