does applying for jobs online works?????

this is like the third year i look for a job online and never works.
i mature enough to know that is better to look for a job in person,,but this kind of experiment seems to tell me that online applications are like a big WASTE of time.

..well, there is really a big difference in applying online and in applying personally to the company.. sometimes, there are lots of application sent online so the companies don't have enough time to browse all those applications.. sometimes, they already hired somebody but they did not update their web page so it appears like they are still hiring.. It would be really good if you try to apply personally.. That way, you are sure that you will be interviewed and your resume will not be wasted..
