How/where to sell pencil drawn potrait?  | |  Hi there mylotters,
Recently, I started drawing portraits of people, celebrities to be exact by using pencils. And now, I'm wondering, can we make money by selling our hand drawn portrait online? Has anyone of you mylotters has done this business before? And do you know any other website (other than deviantart.com, because I just joined this site) where we can sell our drawings? seems like a tough business to earn money online, but what the heck, just thought I'd popped out the question...:-)

I don't' know much about it but it may be helpful. I would suggest starting with EBay or perhaps at a local flea market, consignment shop or maybe you could set up in a park or something. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I've seen people sell their anime/manga-style drawings at Japanese entertainment conventions. I don't sell my art, but I've met quite a few people who do. Most that I know sell both online and in person in order to reach a variety of people.
