i think you should go to your doctors. they can help you. but as for your question, no i dont think creams such as that make it worse before it gets better, i think that it may be an allergic reaction. if you dont want to see your doctor, you could call the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist.

i think which u have done was quite a good response to take care of your spots but i would like to tell you instead of using these creams try some home made products,i would suggest you that put lemon on your face and you will see a good result . because i have also tried it and it worked for me, hopefully it will also help you...

You are going to the college soon, so when you are younger particularly
on teen age or little bit more then teen age , your hormone level will be increased in the body including male / female hormone, which will produce the pimples as well as the spots too.

I am strongly advising you do not use any cream which is available in the
markets , try to visit to your nearest skin specialist or skin doctor
to check your face and get the proper treatments in order to reduce the
spots in the face, or may it will goes immediately with good treatments.

May your skin specialist will recommend to use some medicated creams along with
soap and medicines, all are going to help you to get rid of the spots in the
face.

So don't worry and be confident you will get rid off from this spots immediately
prior to meet your doctor without fail.

It's likely that the gel you used isn't suitable for your skin type. I have a lot of trouble finding the right products, but the things I use at the moment work great. I use an Avon exfoliating scrub every 2 or 3 days to clean my skin properly, and I use Clean and Clear Dual Action moisturiser every morning and night to prevent spots. Hope this helps
