Our economy is on the way recovering?

I hope so too, but around here there is no evidence of any improvement. I've been trying to get an evening job to supplement my partner's income, so I can work when he is home for the kids, but nobody is hiring, everyone is making redundancies and for someone like me, with few qualifications and limited available time, its virtually impossible:(

I think right now they are just looking at indicators that its getting better. That means we are not feeling it yet, in our wallets and jobs, but hopefully will soon. And like has been said, job recovery will be the last thing to happen. It takes time.

Personally, I think we are in a marginal upswing, with some small signs of improvement, but ultimately, the current economy is going to be like my husband: up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down. You can only hope the ups will either last longer or be stronger than the downs till things get back to normal. Whatever that means.
