| 1. Jergle (19) | 6 months ago | Hi there shhheila, My all time favorite spoof movie has to be the "Airplane" franchise. Those movies have me crying with laughter every single time. Personally i only think the first 2 scary movies were funny. It gets a bit tedious for me after a while. None the less still a good choice of movie. Keep watching [marquee] test [/marquee]

3. simonelee (768) | 6 months ago | Scary movie(spoof scary movie). i love watching it again and again, the movie is so funny. I love the way they spoofed mid-and-late 1990s movie, including the more subtle horror film parody series scream trilogy, the six sense, i know what you did last summer, the usual suspects, the matrix, blair witch project. Just like you shhheila, i still hope they'll release scary movie 5.

4. crimsonladybug (2062) | 6 months ago | Oh goodness... Scary Movie, Date Movie, Epic Movie, etc. etc. etc. all SUCK! They are just ridiculous bathroom humor with no real plot of their own, just a mishmash of plots from all the movies that came out in the same year...Half the time the plots they mishmashed weren't even the kind of movie they were trying to make fun of.
Someone already mentioned Airplane! and it's sequels...those were amazing. Also anything Mel Brooks did right up until Robin Hood Men in Tights (which was still good but teetered on the edge of being way too absurd), but especially Silent Movie and History of the World Part I. And without a doubt, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

If you didn't know already, though, you should check out "Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th." (Longest title ever.) It came out the same year as the first "Scary Movie," and went straight to video, but I find it just as funny as "Scary Movie."
