Does anyone here have any firsthand experience with Morgellons disease? Supposedly it causes skin lesions and a sensation of bugs under the skin, and sometimes the affected person will see fibers under or on the skin. Experts in the medical community disagree about what causes Morgellons. Some say that it could be biological in nature and that's what causes the fibers to grow out of the lesions. Others say it could be bacterial or environmental. There is yet another group of people who think that the disease is psychiatric in nature. Some have tried using antibacterials, anti-parasite agents, and antifungals, with varying degrees of success. Other people use have used light therapy. What do you think?
