Going Away!

I am so excited I can barely contain myself. I am leaving in three days to go on my family's traditional yearly trip to my aunt's cabin. I can't wait, although there is still a lot of stuff that I have to do to get ready. I look forward to this trip every year, although the last time that I went, was not as fun as I had planned. I had just giving birth to my first second daughter and she really wasn't happy with the car ride to the cabin. I guess that I never really thought about it. After the trip we decided that I would wait to join in the yearly trip until my girls were a little older. Now it is two years later and I am going to attempt the trip again. This time my oldest daughter will be four years old and my youngest will be three. We all going camping a lot and the camp site is about the same distance as the cabin so I am really hoping that they will do okay. I even went out and purchased a portable DVD player so that the girls could watch movies in the van on the way to the cabin. I am also bringing some books for the drive for them. I am wondering if anyone can give me a few more ideas on how to keep the girls busy on the ride up. I am open to suggestions on just about anything, withing reason,LOL. I am so happy. But instead of sitting here writting about in, I really do have to start getting packed to go. I hope that everyone here on mylot has a great long weekend, happy mylotting.
