I've been on vacation the last week so If I'm behind I'm sorry, anyway I think when Obama gave the original press conference on Health care but HAD to thorw in a stupid comment about the police incident in Cambridge, He did it on purpose to divert attention away from his health care for a few days to help pelosi and company ram rod it thru. As much as I hate Obama I will say he's not dumb and him throwing that comment out in the middle of a health care pitch that majority of americans don't want sort of go hand in hand if you ask me??

I don't know if he did it on purpose, but it did come at a convenient time in that respect. It seriously hurt his popularity briefly, but he managed to deflect that with his "beer summit". It became a media focus so it may have helped distract people from what was going on with the health care bill.

Yeh I'm not saying for sure, but as smart as he is I would think he would never blurt something so dumb without an alt motive IMO.
