What is the best being single?

Yeah, i would have to agree, the freedom. You do not feel so tied down. You could take some time out for yourself. But i would rather be in a relationship. I dunno, i just like knowing someone is there that loves me when i am stuck in the pit, and if i am single and free i would feel kind of left out.

yeah freedom is definitely no one in the list. practically i can just go up to any boys/girls and flirt without having to worry that i will upset someone. second in the list, is i have more time to myself. I get to pamper myself rather than pampering somebody else. I also get more time to spend with family and friends.

We have freedom. Can come home late. No restrictions.

i am a single mom, and I prefer to stay this way...not for wanting freedom... but for avoiding having "unnecessary" hassles in life...i believe guys slow me down...

being single, means you are free. u dont have a husband or wife and children to take care and think for, but its kinda sad especially you see your friends being happy with their special someone. being single, you can do whatever you want in your life.

I dont know what is the best being single, but I know the worst thing about is that everytime you are alone & really "single"

Agree with you. The best for me is also freedom. I like to be cared but i don't like to be controlled or surveillant all the time. And everyone has some secrets that don't want anyone else to know except ourselves. But if you get married, to be honest to your lover, you have to let him or her know or maybe they stumble on your secrets.

There are pros and cons to being single: The pros- freedom,
unaccountability, financial relief,the opportunity to meet
and befriend other singles(this points to a possible end to
"singleness" not too far away)........
The cons can be daunting- if one lkes to socialise,one misses
the closeness of a"significant other" at certain moments.This,in turn,
can lead one into a state of reclusion.
Invitations to certain events and functions can be at best, awkward.....
at worst,embarrassing.
And when our need for the physical closeness of another human being overtakes
us, there is where real emotional torment becomes almost unbearable.
It is terrible on the young,and painful on the ageing.
Then there is the uncertainty of facing the future alone(unless,of course,one
has quite definitely made up one's mind to do so).

i love to be single and can have lot of freedom and peace of mind too..and can take decisions of my own and no need to depend on anyone for anything...

Being single is not that great nor that bad...so is being in an relationship....rather being in an relationship is better...unless ur an jumping jack
