I have been to Paris a couple of times. I have been there with my parents and my brother about 20 years ago, and I have been there with a friend (10 years ago) I don't remember much from my first visit to Paris, I was 13 years old and I wasn't very interested in the museums and the buildings at that time, but I remember visiting the Eiffel tower. When I went to Paris with my friend we did a lot of sightseeing, and it was interesting, but I have only seen a small part of the city. There are lots of other places that I would like to explore if I get the chance to go to Paris again.

Hi Porcospino: I am jealous of what you tell us, i have never visited Paris but I hope to do this very soon. I am actually planning to study in Poitiers, France so there are a lot of possibilities for me to visit Paris, but I havce to wait because i have not finished my collegue studies in my country. However, i know i will enjoy to visit the museums. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. -Alvaro.

I haven't been to Paris yet but I would love to go in the future. Paris is known as the sexiest city in the world thats why I want to go there but my French friend told me that the cost of living there is very expensive so I might go there for a few days of vacation only.

Well, people like to visit Paris because it has more attractions that your average city. It has lots of fashion, art, culture, etc. Besides it's a classy capital. I would love to go to Paris someday, it's a romantic place to be from what I've been told by the french cinema divas ;)

France has the highest number of tourists of any country in the world. That means it is really popular and Paris as the capital city receives lots of foreign visitors. It has famous sights like the Eiffel Tower which everyone wishes to see. I liked going down the River Seine by boat and visiting the parks plus the gardens. Personally I love other cities in Europe more than Paris. I adore Prague, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Lisbon, Salzburg and Istanbul. Paris is a pricey city to visit because accommodation costs are high. There is a train there from London and so many Brits go there for short breaks.

Hi home shoppers: i don't think there is a particular reason for visiting Paris but that we always associate Paris with romance and those old and beautiful films. If you watch some pictures you will actually find that Paris is a really beautiful city and it also has one of the most famous towers of the world. La tour Eiffel! I would like to visit Paris but just for some days because i would not like to live in a big city. Thanks for making this question. Have a nice day. -Alvaro.

Been to Paris last year, and I tell you everything you heard about the city is completely true. It is a very romantic city with classic architectural building, breathtaking view, and amazing culture. I went to the top of Eiffel Tower where you can view the city, then to Champs Elysees which is the memorial of their national heros, to Montmartre which is the red light district in Paris, and finally to Louvre, a museum which is soooo big which I think one day only does not enough to go through the area. It is so romantic, especially at night, I imagine bringing my girlfriend to a tall building and then see the scenery, or having a candlelight dinner in one of the cafe there. Another one that is true about the French are some of them are rude, I met one person who insult my dear Indian friend, I also met a shopkeeper who was just rude to me because asking direction, and most of the French don't want to speak English, although they understand the language. But some people are nice though, really help me out in the way....Most of the direction are in French, so I suggest you come with a friend there, just to accompany you in case you are lost

I have never been to Paris but have always wanted to go. I think so many people want to go because it gives the vision of romance, and it has been put up on a petastal by so many movies. I know I want to visist for sure!
