I think you've missed the title, revenge of the fallen is the latest title of Transformers movies sequel. The latest of X-men is "X-men origins: Wolverine". the story mostly just about wolverine history, start from his childhood until he was joined X-men leagues. Good CGI involved and nice story, but lack of strong emotion there.
